Individual Counselling
My individual counselling sessions provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. I offer personalised therapy for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Together, we’ll work to uncover the root causes of your challenges and develop practical tools to help you feel more balanced, confident, and connected.
My approach to individual counselling is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep belief that every person’s story is unique. I offer a confidential, supportive space in Beckenham and online where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely, without judgment. Although my foundation is person-centred therapy, I integrate elements of CBT to help you understand patterns and build practical coping tools for your day to day life.
Diversity is central to how I work — I recognise that our identities, cultures, and life experiences shape how we see ourselves and the world. Whether you’re navigating issues related to race, gender, sexuality, culture, or personal beliefs, I strive to meet you with openness, curiosity, and cultural awareness. Therapy with me is about finding your voice, understanding your experiences, and creating meaningful change — all within a space where difference is valued and respected.
Whether you prefer in-person therapy or online counselling, my goal is to support your mental and emotional well-being through a compassionate, evidence-based approach. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and personal growth, I’m here to help.
Therapy for Children and young adults
Supporting children and young people through life’s challenges is at the heart of my work. I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults build emotional resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills in a safe and nurturing environment. Through child-centred counselling and play therapy, I provide a space where young people can express themselves freely, explore their feelings, and develop tools to manage anxiety, stress, behavioural changes, and low self-esteem.
As a BACP registered therapist who has been trained in chid therapy by Place2Be who are at the forefront of counselling in schools and colleges, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every individual—using creative and evidence-based approaches that encourage self-expression, communication, and growth. Whether your child is struggling with school pressures, family changes, trauma, or social challenges, counselling can offer the support and understanding they need to thrive.
If you’re looking for play therapy or counselling for children and young adults, I’m here to help your child feel heard, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s ups and downs.
Finding Myself Again
My Journey Through Single Parenthood and Menopause
Life has a way of reshaping us in seasons we never expected. For me, two of those seasons — single parenthood and menopause — arrived together, asking me to redefine what strength, identity, and balance truly meant.
As a single parent, I learned what it means to hold everything together — the school runs, the work deadlines, the late-night worries — often while feeling like there was no one holding me. There were days when I felt capable and grounded, and others when I was just surviving. The emotional load was real, and so was the guilt of never feeling like I was doing “enough.”
Then, as I entered menopause, my body began shifting in ways that felt foreign. Hot flushes, disrupted sleep, and mood swings met emotional exhaustion head-on. I didn’t feel like myself — not the woman I used to be, not yet the woman I was becoming. Menopause can feel like a quiet identity crisis, especially when you’re already giving so much of yourself to everyone else.
Through this time, I came face to face with my own humanity — the part of me that needed care, rest, and compassion just as much as my clients did. Therapy and self-reflection became not only my profession but also my lifeline.
Now, as a therapist, I bring this lived experience into my work. I understand what it’s like to navigate big transitions while feeling unseen. I help women and parents reconnect with themselves — to process the changes, release the shame, and rebuild a sense of self that feels whole and grounded again.
If you’re moving through menopause, single parenthood, or any life change that’s left you feeling lost, please know: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to carry it all in silence. Healing begins with being witnessed — and that’s where counselling can help.
"Success to me is giving our clients the tools to move forward, allowing them to challenge there current status quo if it isn't working for them."
